Line: Vertical, Horizontal, Diagonal, Curved
Colour that is used to draw in the eye to the building and is a key factor of the design
Form and shape: Shape is used as a design choice that highlights a basic shape that is 2D, Form is used when the building has a unique form of Design that is 3D
Space: There is Positive and Negative space they are both good however, positive space is filled space while negative space is open space they are both needed to make a good structure to much of either can be bad
Texture: smooth and rough textures are important to highlight either a modern or rustic look
Shading: Shading uses light and dark tones to bring out the colour to make the building more visually pleasing
Balance: Balance is a form of informal or formal balance, Informal balance is when its Asymmetrical and formal balance is when it is symmetrical and not just equal weight. Balance is important for both structural integrity and for visual balance which makes everything look better if one side has to much stuff or is to heavy it will look like garbage

Emphasis: Draws your eye to one focal point
Proportion and scale: the golden ratio is the what you always want to go for because its the most visually appealing something can be in architecture the ratio is 3:5
Movement: creates the illusion that the structure has free flowing movement
Contrast: a sudden and drastic change in something like colour, texture, or visual style
Unity: unity is created by using similar or the same style, color, texture, or material in a design
